Create New Solutions with AI

In small and medium-sized businesses and law firms, many tasks are still handled manually, take up significant time and add little to the actual core work. I help identify exactly these areas and develop new, pragmatic solutions with AI – from improving a process to creating a small tool that makes the task easier and more efficient in future.

The Problem Determines the Solution

Not every time-consuming task is recognised as a problem – but many can now be solved much better.

In many businesses and law firms, tasks and processes have been running the same way for years simply because that is how they evolved – often manually, time-consuming and without being recognised as a problem at all.

That is exactly where a fresh perspective helps: Where is unnecessary time being spent, where do errors or delays arise, and where do customers or clients feel the consequences?

That is why I do not start by asking where AI can be used, but where a better solution would make sense.

How I Can Support

  1. Identify Potential

Together, we look at processes, recurring tasks and typical friction points and identify areas where today’s AI tools can open up new ways of solving them.

  2. Try It Together

We do not turn selected topics into abstract AI use cases. Instead, we try out a concrete solution. This might be a small helper, an automation, a better process or something entirely different.

  3. Transfer Knowledge

The people involved should understand how we approached the task and what possibilities AI can open up. This builds the ability to recognise and address similar topics independently in future. If needed, I can continue to support the process as a sparring partner or coach.

New Possibilities Without an In-House Development Team

What used to require too much effort for a dedicated solution can often be addressed today with a manageable level of effort.

Small and medium-sized businesses and law firms often do not have a large in-house IT or development organisation. Technical topics are handled by a small number of employees or supported by external providers. For smaller, individual needs, a traditional IT project is therefore often not worthwhile.

This is exactly where today’s AI tools create new possibilities. They can help test ideas more quickly, prepare data or information, develop simple tools, automate recurring tasks or simplify existing processes in a targeted way.

From an Idea to My Own Website – with AI as a Tool

For my own website, I wanted to retain control over the content, design and technical implementation as far as possible.

With AI, I structured requirements, developed texts and visual ideas, and had the technical implementation created and reviewed step by step. Results were assessed, adapted or discarded until a solution emerged that matched my objectives.

The result is not an AI application, but a conventional website. AI was the tool that enabled me to solve a task that would otherwise have required significantly more external development effort.

And you can see the result of that approach right here – on this website.

When Sensitive Data Should Not Go to the Cloud

Use AI where it adds value – and keep data where it belongs.

Not every task is suitable for public AI services. Particularly when dealing with confidential documents, internal information or sensitive client and customer data, it can make sense to use AI in a more controlled or local environment.

I therefore also explore local AI solutions and the types of tasks they can usefully support. The aim is not to replace cloud services as a matter of principle, but to find the right approach for the data, level of protection required and specific task.
